At Grace Christian School, we are building the next generation of leaders, workers, families and community servants. Our athletic training and competition provides students the opportunity to further develop their Christian character, and to honor and glorify God in all that they do. The GCS Crusader Athletic program trains each athlete to develop qualities of diligence, endurance, boldness, obedience, faith, humility and dependability. These character qualities are instilled for life and undoubtedly have an impact on the Sanford community and beyond, today and for generations to come.
GCS fields 38 middle school, junior varsity, and varsity teams, including baseball, basketball, cheerleading, chess, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, shooting, swimming and volleyball. The High School is a 3A member of the North Carolina Independent Schools Athletic Association (NCISAA). Grace has won numerous Conference and State titles, and many of our athletes have gone on to play DI, II, III, and NAIA in their respected sports.
