Building the Foundation for a Lifetime of Learning

Proverbs 22:6 states, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”

Our goal is to preserve the gifts of childhood while preparing children to meet life with joy, enthusiasm and confidence. Our Pre-K program is designed to satisfy children’s natural sense of discovery academically, physically, emotionally, socially and spiritually, and launch them into a lifetime of learning.

The first five years of a child’s life will prove to be among the most important in their emotional, physical and spiritual development. It is imperative that we take advantage of each day during this short window of opportunity to instill in a child’s heart what will one day determine their character. We are honored to partner with you in this awesome responsibility.

A Loving & Caring Christian Environment

It is our desire to give each child that enters our doors a solid foundation of Christian love. We teach God’s unconditional love daily and strive to be Godly examples to all our children and families. As parents, one of our greatest gifts is our children and we believe it is important that we train them according to scripture.

We consider it a privilege that you have chosen us to be a part of your child’s life. We realize that family is most important and we work hard to assist you in nurturing and training your child while in our care.

Spiritual Formation

Introducing our Pre-K students to a Holy God, who loves and cares for them personally, is a top priority at Grace. Children will learn an overview of God’s Word through Bible stories and biblical principles taught daily. Our Pre-K students learn and memorize a scripture version monthly.

Academic Curriculum

Our Pre-K students learn through structured teaching, hands-on instruction and Center play that prepares them for a successful transition to Kindergarten and beyond. We have a strong emphasis on phonics, reading preparedness, number recognition, counting and early math skills. Curiosity is encouraged to introduce concepts of science and art.

Music is an important part of the classroom experience in the Grace Christian Pre-K program. We understand the vital role that music plays in the education and development of young children. Listening to music and singing with students is practiced on a daily basis. We also have a music instruction class weekly.

Pre-K students have ample time for physical activity indoors and out. They enjoy their time on our playground, picnics outside and opportunities to learn from the outdoors. We also have a structured exercise class for Pre-K once a week.
