We value the opportunities for our students to grow in extracurricular areas and strive to provide something for every student.

Structured Learning & Growth

Many of our clubs are offered as classes to provide valuable and structured learning and growth opportunities during the regular school day. Check out our course descriptions to learn more.

Find Your Place at Grace

Student Government Association (SGA)

GCS High School students have the opportunity to serve in leadership through the Student Government Association. Officers are elected to serve on the Executive Council. Each class elects students to represent their class on the Council. Serving as a Student Government Officer is the highest student leadership position at Grace Christian High School, therefore, each officer is expected to exemplify Christ-like leadership and service in scholastic endeavors, personal conduct, school activities, and service in the execution of the office he/she is elected to serve.

National Honor Society

Grace Christian School is an active chapter of the National Honor Society (NHS) for grades 10-12, recognizing students with scholarly achievement, who are exemplary in their service, leadership, and character. The NHS affords students opportunity and tools for their future including scholarships, conferences, and college and career readiness resources. Learn more about NHS at Grace.

Theatre

Students of all ages get a time to shine at GCS! We host bi-annual performances for both elementary and upper schools where students have opportunities to perform, design sets and run sound and production. Group roles are assigned for all elementary students, with special roles available by audition for elementary, middle and high school students. Our upper level students advance their skills in an elective Theatre Class.

Student Worship Team

Middle and High School students can be a part of the GCS Student Worship Team, leading their peers in worship during chapel and building valuable experience. Students have the opportunity of vocal, instrumental, or production areas of worship. The Student Worship Team has an application process at the beginning of each semester, but students may audition at any time during the year. The team is selected based upon each students’ testimony, character and skill.  Learn more about the Student Worship Team.

Student Production Team

Weekly chapel services and Semi-annual drama productions offer great opportunities for Production Team students to gain experience in Audio Engineering, Camera Operation, Video Switching, Live Streaming, Lighting, and Computer Graphics.

Videography Club

Students can experience the excitement of live-sports production at home sporting events on our Videography Club. Our state-of-the-art audio, video, and lighting, support systems at Torgerson Gymnasium, as well as audio and video support systems at the Baseball, Softball and Soccer complexes, allow students to gain hands-on training and real-world experience in the field.

Curiosity Club

The Curiosity Club is Grace Christian’s student-led home for science beyond the classroom. Student officers run it, managing the school’s lab and equipment inventory, planning events and field experiences, and leading workshops. The club also anchors our research program, helping students from the annual Curiosity & Innovation Fair, conducting independent studies and participating in national competitions. Curiosity is the only prerequisite!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) is an interdenominational Christian sports ministry impacting the world for Jesus Christ through the influence of Christian athletes and coaches. GCS Athletes are automatically members of FCA as part of our effort to grow our students both in faith and in sport. FCA offers events and resources that speak directly to students’ lives as a competitor — to build athletic skills and strengthen their faith.
