Grace Christian School will be hosting a legacy funding event and celebration of our Grace champions – those who invest their time, talents, resources and prayer into the mission, vision, students and staff of Grace Christian School.
The 1st Annual Night of Champions will be a night to share what God has done through Grace Christian School during the past twelve months as we honor the past, cultivate the current and forecast for the future.
Parents of students that are part of the Learning Support Program (LSP) should anticipate an end-of-the-year meeting to review progress, develop and/or revise goals, and set projections for next year. These meetings are a great opportunity to highlight the student’s individual growth and plan for future needs. Collaboration with parents also supports the framework for student success.
Any questions about meetings can either be directed to any of the Learning Support Program teachers or our LSP director, Lauren Morrison at lsp@gracechristiansanford.com.
This month, GCS 2nd-5th grade teachers will begin a facilitated training of the Keys to Literacy: Keys to Beginning Reading series. This professional development series will provide teachers with evidenced-based instructional practices for all areas of literacy. Regular sessions hosted by Lauren Morrison, Learning Support Program Director and Keys to Literacy trainer, will provide collaboration and connection for our teachers. All the while, the instructional practices will enhance the curriculum for all learners! Language skills are an essential piece to building not only better students, but better readers of God’s word.
Our Fine Arts departments will host “Part of Our World” our spring showcase! Our art classes will have artwork on display in the welcome center, our ballet classes will perform, and our theater classes will entertain the audience. This will be a great evening to see all the hard work of our Fine Arts students this spring! Parents of students involved should have received details about the evening, but if you still have questions, please email your student’s teacher: Visual Arts: Megan James; Ballet: Emily Baugher; Theater: April Ward.
If you forgot to preorder your 2022 yearbook, we have a limited quantity available for sale. Get yours while they last! Yearbooks are $45 each and will be distributed before the end of the school year.
We will be providing sports physicals on campus for any student who needs one. There will be a charge for the physicals and the money raised goes to Grace Christian Athletic Department to help offset equipment costs for the upcoming school year.
More details will be sent out via email closer to the date!
We have two new designs of spirit wear sweatshirts available in limited quantities available both online and in our school office. We also have recently restocked both our t-shirts and sweatshirts recently so as the weather gets hotter and the air conditioning gets colder, we have got you covered! You can either shop in the school office daily from 7:30 am – 4:00 pm or order online!
We are now a CASHLESS venue. For additional convenience, we have a system in place for your students to be able to have their FACTS account billed. In addition to this option, students can also purchase GRACE Gift Cards from the Concession Stand or Risen Grounds Coffee Shop.
