Crusader Summer Camps 

Week-long enrichment camps geared towards athletics, fine arts, and academics. They are full or half days.

Grace Summer Camp

Our traditional all-day Summer Camp from 6:30 AM through 6:30 PM for rising Kindergarten - 5th grade. It’s full of fun daily activities, as well as daily Bible lessons!

Crusader Academic Camps

Catch Up Camps will give your child the extra boost to be successful in their academics by providing specialized, explicit, small group instruction.


 

STEM Camp w/Mrs. Sarah Coggins

Bible Story STEM Camp will focus on using the engineering and design process while learning about characters in the Bible. Students will use the Bible stories we focus on to recreate these stories using technology. We will be using the Scratch Jr. program and Bee Bots as culminating activities for the camp.

Soccer Camp w/Coach Rhine

This camp is ideal for players of all skill levels looking to take their game to the next level. We will practice all elements of soccer…passing, dribbling, communication, shooting, defending, teamwork & strategy. Each day will help players build confidence & become a more skilled player. Campers will work through stations, drills, games & competitions  for all skills levels.

Players will need: tennis shoes (cleats preferred), water bottle, sunscreen, soccer ball

Girls Softball Camp w/Coach Cannaday

This camp allows softball players to learn, develop and enhance their skills in all phases of softball. Our coaches provide the opportunity to become a better softball player through daily drills focused around the fundamentals of the game….hitting, throwing, fielding, base running, infield/outfield skills and game situations.

Players will need: water, glove, helmet, cleats/shoes, sunscreen

ART Camp w/Mrs. James

Creativity runs wild all week in our studio for GCS art camp! Our theme for camp this year will be Disney! Elementary students will learn various techniques while creating Disney themed projects and will end the week with a fun day of outdoor art activities and face painting. Each student will be introduced to new art skills and will learn how to take their mistakes and make them into beautiful masterpieces. Come ready to get messy and experience all the fun of art!

Basketball Camp w/Coach Wilson

This camp is dedicated to teaching the fundamentals of basketball in a safe & enjoyable environment. Working each day to help better a players skill set on the court & also building their confidence off the court. This camp will strengthen the athletes mentality while boosting their confidence to become a more skilled player. We teach this through daily devotions, stations, drills, games & competitions designed for players of all skill levels.

Volleyball Camp w/Coach James

Crusader Volleyball takes the energy and excitement of volleyball and puts it all together in one fun-filled camp! All aspects of the game are taught through drills and exercises that focus on passing, setting, hitting and serving. This camp is designed for the beginner to the intermediate player and will incorporate essential life lessons such as teamwork and sportsmanship. Our coaching staff will assist each athlete in developing the fundamental skills of the game through game based drills and daily scrimmages aimed at developing the whole player. Athletes will learn the\importance of teamwork and communication.

Cheer Camp w/Coach James

Get those voices ready and shake out those pom poms, because the Shouting Saders are hosting our annual CHEER CAMP! GCS Cheerleaders are ready to teach your little ladies all the basics of cheerleading, including motions, jumps, stunts, routines and even dance moves. Together we will learn the importance of team bonding, building trust and confidence, listening to our leaders, working together as a team and developing leadership skills.

Cheerleaders will need to be dressed in athletic clothes and tennis shoes with hair pulled up in a ponytail each day. They should also bring their own water bottle.

Kindergarten Camp

The focus of this week long camp will be a preview of academic skills, social development and routines. Teachers will provide hands on activities, stories and games that will engage students and get them excited for the coming school year. Our goal is to help make the transition into kindergarten a fund and easy experience for parents and students.

Smash It. Crash It. Bash It. w/Mrs. Jennifer Ames

Smash, crash, boom, bang, destroy! There’s nothing students love more than the satisfying smash and bash of things being demolished. They do it for sheer amusement; now they can do it in the name of science. Imagine watching a marshmallow grow bigger and bigger or crashing race cars designed by them, launching homemade rockets, and making an exothermic reaction, replicating an explosive volcano! Students will love participating in mind-blowing, eye-popping experiments accompanied by safety precautions. Sign up now and get set for a smashing time!
