The AIG Program Specialist works to address the academic, intellectual, social, and emotional needs of all gifted learners.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Seek to role model in attitude, speech, and action a consistent daily walk with Jesus Christ
- Plans and delivers specialized, rigorous instruction to high-ability students, often via pull-out classes or push-in support.
- Manage the screening, testing, and identification process for the AIG Program
- Develop differentiated education plans (AIG service plans)
- Coach classroom teachers on enrichment strategies and differentiation through cooperative planning opportunities
- Facilitate the implementation of the school’s AIG Plan
- Attend Parent-Teacher Conferences, or individually meet with parents to discuss learner progress with parents as needed
- Organizes enrichment experiences to develop potential within students and enhance the performance of all students.
Qualifications
- Committed Christ-follower
- Bachelor’s degree in education or related field with AIG experience/certification/ coursework. Master’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience as a learning specialist or in a related teaching role
- Ability to develop and sustain a culture of knowledge sharing, accountability, and appreciation
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing
