Job Overview

The Video Production Specialist/Instructor is a member of the Production Team, reporting to the Production/AVL Director. This person will be expected to work closely with other production/creative personalities as a positive and encouraging team member. The individual should lead by example, and cultivate a positive spirit, representing Christ and His church well in the community at large. This person will be responsible to assist with weekly media/technical arts support for Grace Chapel Ministries (GCM).

Desired Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Previous experience/education in Video Production

Important Skills/Personal Traits

  • Willingness to work with a flexible schedule. Due to the nature of the ministry, events are held at various times and days, including evenings and weekends
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring there are no loose ends on projects
  • Maintains a high degree of accuracy while keeping an eye toward deadlines
  • Cooperative team member who respects organizational policies and procedures
  • Evening & weekend availability

Preferred Technical Skills

  • High Proficiency with Panasonic and Sony Cinematic Cameras (or similar)
  • High Proficiency with Adobe and/or Apple audio & video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro X, etc)
  • Panasonic Broadcast Camera Ecosystems
  • Ross Carbonite Video Switchers (or similar) Proficiency with Google Drive

Responsibilities & Duties

Include, but not limited to:

  • Be the Video Production team leader, helping to produce content for, but not limited to, Auditorium Screens, Video Scoreboards, Digital Signage, Social Media, etc.
  • Be a Production Team Leader/Point Person to team members (volunteers, students, etc) during GCM events (Chapels, Athletic Events, Special Events, etc.)
  • Organize and Maintain Video file database within Google Drive. This includes finished projects, working files, edited and/or raw footage for future usage
  • Assist AVL Director with technical projects/installs
  • Assist with inventory management of Video Equipment
  • Assist with Video Equipment preventative maintenance, preparation, operation, set-up/breakdown in the media/technical arts
  • Reduce downtime of mission critical video systems by managing software quality through comprehensive testing, network inspections, operating system management, and standardizing equipment troubleshooting processes
  • Training and approving students and volunteers in the media and production ministries
  • Instruct video production-related High School elective classes
  • Assess student learning, through observations, authentic performance, and more formal methods, in an ongoing manner, providing frequent student feedback
  • Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom
  • Other assigned duties legally required by management
