Why are you in Christian education?
Being a Christian in public education for the first 25 years of my career was rewarding, but left me unfulfilled. While I never expected to pursue a path to Christian education five years ago, it is evident now that it was always part of God's plan. He used that time to mold me and prepare me for what He called me too, which is now a ministry in addition to my profession.
What sets GCS apart?
The multi-faceted ministry of Grace operates within a model of efficiency among shared leadership that is not common. Difficult decisions are made with consideration of all stakeholders and the team unites around the mission with a servant heart, despite the challenges the enemy places in our path on a seemingly daily basis.
Why are you thankful to be at GCS?
I have always been surrounded by excellent educators who care about kids, but it is so great to have a team of like-minded believers who genuinely love each other as brothers and sisters in Christ, and are constantly building each other up and willing to do whatever it takes (even with already full plates)
