Why are you in Christian education?

I teach because the Lord impressed upon me as a senior in high school that Christian education was the field I was to pursue. He has confirmed that calling many times over, and it brings me great joy to serve students in their personal, educational, and spiritual growth.

What sets GCS apart?

Grace lives up to its name. I see the Lord's favor poured out on this ministry as we share truth with the students, extend grace to each other, and experience the Lord's grace and blessings as we interact with each other. It is truly a ministry of love, kindness, and excellence across each area. I'm very thankful to be a part of it!

Why are you thankful to be at GCS?

I'm thankful to teach at Grace because it is an amazing ministry. It is evident that the leadership cares for us as teachers and is passionate about serving the families of this community and surrounding areas. I believe that they prayerfully make decisions that affect all involved in the ministry, and that they have a vision of excellence and progress for the school. I'm thankful that the pastoral staff and church support us as teachers. And of course, I am very thankful to be able to minister in the lives of the children that come through our doors each day! I count it a privilege to be here!

Statement of Faith

I was brought up in a Christian home, and my parents and extended family were committed to Christian service. I was exposed to the gospel from as early as I can remember, and first accepted Christ when I was three years old. In time, I sought to understand more about my faith. After many doubts about my salvation, I came to realize through scripture that my salvation is not based on my works, but on the atoning work of my Savior, Jesus, through His death, burial, and resurrection. I rededicated my life to Christ when I was a senior in high school, and committed myself to serving Him in the area of full-time Christian education. I'm thankful for the opportunity to share Christ with my students, and hope to continue that ministry for as long as the Lord allows!
