I feel like I was called to teach. I enjoy helping students reach their full potential and develop a love for learning. Also, seeing a child's "aha" moment is priceless.
Grace Christian School is a place where students are seen, loved, taught, and discipled. It is a place where teachers go out of their way to establish genuine relationships with students, encourage them, and hold them accountable.
I am so thankful that my children are at Grace Christian School. At GCS, students grow academically but also, and more importantly, they grow spiritually. Being at a school where I know my children are genuinely cared for and prayed over means so much to me. I am also thankful to work at Grace Christian School, a place where I know that my colleagues and the GCC church staff, care about me from the inside out.
I believe in the one true God. I believe that He exists in three persons of one substance, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory. I believe that He alone spoke everything into existence. I believe that God sent his Son to earth to be born of a virgin, live a sinless life, take the punishment for our sins, die on the cross, and three days later, rise from the dead. I grew up in a Christian household and was always involved in church activities. When I was six years old, I asked Jesus to be my Lord and Savior, thus beginning my sanctification journey. Then, on my thirteenth birthday, I was baptized. Throughout my life, I have witnessed the goodness of God so many times. I have been able to see how even during the most difficult times, He was with me (1 Chronicles 28:20). God has taught me so much through the people and experiences that He has placed in my life.
