Why are you in Christian education?

After selling most of my family businesses, I was diligently in prayer and God's Word for what was next for my life and how I could make the most use of the talents I have been gifted by Him. I had the amazing opportunity to be poured into by business professionals for over a decade. And I am thrilled to be able to pour into the next generation of business owners and leaders in that same way. I knew if I was going to pursue the opportunity to teach business, I wanted to be able to integrate my faith because it is so much a part of my life. I want students to know that even if the business offerings aren't Christian, that our businesses can still be used to glorify His Kingdom and can be the way we fulfill our calling and our purpose within our communities.

What sets GCS apart?

The people. Everyone I have encountered has been friendly, welcoming, helpful, and smiling. Office staff, custodial staff, maintenance staff, faculty, administration, everyone. It feels great to enter a new environment and immediately feel welcomed with open arms.

Why are you thankful to be at GCS?

Teaching business & entrepreneurship at GCS is an answer to prayer. I knew if I was going to teach, I wanted to be a teacher at GCS. I'm so thankful for the opportunity to teach to the students, meet the families, and create relationships with my peers. And as an added bonus, I'm thankful to be able to teach at the same location my daughter is attending school.
