I am in Christian education to help train and equip students not only academically but also impact them spiritually.
GCS was a big part of my daughter's spiritual life, and I realized it was the people there making the impact. The importance the teachers give to intentional relationship building with their students makes a huge impact.
I am thankful to share and teach my culture and language to students of different ages and backgrounds. GCS allows me to point students to the Creator of our cultures and celebrate the beauty of our differences.
I have confused and recognize Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I believe Jesus is God, the living word, who became flesh and died for my sins on the cross. I believe He rose to the dead, ascended to heaven, and sat with God the Father. I believe in the Holy Spirit as a divine person to inhabit, guide, and empower believers. I am so thankful that now I know who I am; I am a child of God.
