Why are you in Christian education?

I teach because I love to learn! Learning is a way to grow, build character, and enjoy life. I love teaching Reading because it is so vital for the learning process. Meeting students at the level that is appropriate for them means that the learner has a better chance of being successful. When students feel success they are better able to build their skills and be better Readers and therefore be better learners in order to achieve anything that they want to accomplish.

What sets GCS apart?

Grace Christian School is a school that supports the students individual learning and academic needs as well as their individual spiritual needs.

Why are you thankful to be at GCS?

I am really fortunate to teach at Grace Christian School because although I have had an opportunity to be a teacher for over thirty years, I can now support students in their learning through a biblical model. This means a lot to me as I feel that teaching does involve teaching the whole child. This includes supporting their growth academically as well as spiritually.
