I enjoy instilling a love for learning in children. I feel that I have been called to teach and God has blessed me with wonderful opportunities to do this. Teaching has inspired me to learn a variety of ways to reach others. Even though teaching can be challenging, I have found that it has helped me to grow both professionally and personally.
My experience in public school education had me to focus on the academic wellness of the student. While this is so important, GCS puts emphasis on academic excellence with a Christian worldview. Students are taught through a Biblical perspective emphasizing the "why" to what they are learning in a God-centered environment.
GCS is a place where the spiritual and academic needs of students can be met. The desire of this ministry is to provide an atmosphere for learning that is Christ-centered. Our focus is to have students shone the love of Christ through our words and actions:, fostering an environment in which they can grow and excel spiritually and academically.
I am thankful to be able to be able to teach with coworkers that that have a high standard of professionalism and love for the Lord. I can call on them for academic support and can count on them for spiritual guidance both professionally and personally. My administration strives for ways to improve the academic and spiritual education. I am most thankful for the opportunity that GCS provides for me to teach and instill God centered truths into my students' lives. I love to teach and I can pour my love for the Lord in all areas of what I teach. I enjoy helping prepare my students to be life long learners in a Godly setting. I feel so blessed to work at GCS!
Jesus is the Son of God and was sent to this earth in human form to be sacrificed for the sins of the world. I realized that I was a sinner and needed a Savior at the age of 9, so I asked Jesus to come into my heart to save me from my sins. My desire is to grow closer to the Lord and seek His will for my life.
