Why are you in Christian education?

I enjoy instilling a love for learning in children. I feel that I have been called to teach and God has blessed me with wonderful opportunities to do this. Teaching has inspired me to learn a variety of ways to reach others. Even though teaching can be challenging, I have found that it has helped me to grow both professionally and personally.

What sets GCS apart?

My experience in public school education had me to focus on the academic wellness of the student. While this is so important, GCS puts emphasis on academic excellence with a Christian worldview. Students are taught through a Biblical perspective emphasizing the "why" to what they are learning in a God-centered environment.

Why are you thankful to be at GCS?

I am thankful to be able to be able to teach with coworkers that that have a high standard of professionalism and love for the Lord. I can call on them for academic support and can count on them for spiritual guidance both professionally and personally. My administration strives for ways to improve the academic and spiritual education. I am most thankful for the opportunity that GCS provides for me to teach and instill God centered truths into my students' lives.
